Training - Carry out the Risk Management Process
 

This risk management process course is completed over 2 days (generally on your site).

 

The following competency can be achieved from the course:

  • RIIRIS402D Carry out the risk management process.

 

This certificate is issued by National On-Site Training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The objectives of the course are as follows:

  • provide the trainee with a basic understanding of the process of risk management as it relates to EHS Management Systems;

  • allow and facilitate risk assessments based on a known and approved set of risk processes (nominally AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009); and

  • capture specific requirements for risk within the Australian Legislative environment.

 

Assessment for this competency is via a written examination and in class practical assessment within groups.

 

The course is generally completed on site, so that skills can be utilised straight away.

This provides your business with two benefits:

1. Some of your management system can be included; and

2. The training is both competence and theory based.

 

Classes are structured around facilitator / participant interface. When there is one facilitator present the maximum number of participants should be 12.

For 13 - 20 participants there should be two facilitators present.
