I founded Audit Services International (ASI), a Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) consultancy in 1995 to provide auditing, training, and risk management services to the global mining industry. I have continued to drive all facets of the firm's operations to position it as one of the most highly respected service providers to the Australian mining sector.

In recognition of my contribution to this high growth industry, I was named the 1997 “Queensland Young Australian of the Year”. The firm's client base includes BHP Billiton, Glencore, Rio Tinto, Anglo Coal and various State Government agencies. While the majority of the firm's assignments are in Australia, we have also worked on international projects. The foundation of the long term success of the business is my unwavering commitment to assist clients achieve their Triple Bottom Line, with a special focus on ensuring high levels of employee safety.
Carolyn Gentle
Carolyn is an Occupational Health and Safety specialist with a focus on business improvement, project management and organisational change. She has been working in a consultancy capacity since 2015, primarily developing Safety and Health Management Systems and conducting detailed legal compliance audits. Prior to this, Carolyn has 16 years’ experience in a variety of site and corporate, systems and operational roles within Health, Safety and Environment in the Queensland mining industry. These roles have allowed Carolyn to develop a comprehensive understanding of the key requirements for the effective development, communication, implementation, maintenance, management, audit and review of occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Carolyn is a confident and experienced trainer and facilitator. Carolyn worked previously in the Allied Health field as a Genetic Counsellor and a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor for Queensland Health.
Stacey is a driven and motivated Health, Safety, and Training professional with over 10 years of mining experience in both operational and corporate roles across undergrounds, open cuts, and coal handling preparation plants. This broad range of experience has shaped Stacey and provided her the knowledge and understanding of challenges faced at an operation and the importance of instilling Health, Safety and Training standards whilst supporting positive safety cultures. Stacey specialises in Safety Health Management Systems, Emergency Management and Legal Compliance.

Danielle Nieuwenhuis
Danielle is committed to supporting clients establish and maintain compliant, effective and psychologically safe management systems.
An authentic and enthusiastic Health, Safety and Training professional, she has designed, managed and lead practical, sustainable, risk-based HSECT systems for opencut, underground and CHPP operations in the QLD and NSW mining industry for over 20 years.
Danielle's extensive technical and operational leadership experience in the industry has fostered a strong focus on legislative compliance and effective risk management. Understanding the benefits of quality communication and consultation, she has a strong background in risk assessment facilitation and passion for coaching positive safety behaviours.
Supported by qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management and Auditing, Danielle provides unique and meaningful insight into individual and organisational factors that influence system effectiveness.
Vicki Mann
Vicki commenced in the underground coal mining industry in 1979 in the Illawarra region. Since that time continually worked in mining and associated industries in NSW, QLD, SA and WA. Primary business is the design and implementation of simple WHS Management Systems, compliant to legal / other requirements with a practical approach for use in the workplace. Apart from core OHS, building a 'behavioural' approach into systems has proven essential to ensure error tolerance and effective management on the ground. WHS auditing performed ensures effectiveness of system design and effectiveness. Vicki has over 20 years’ experience as an external auditor and is a certified RABQSA lead auditor. Vicki has vast experience as a workforce trainer in all OHS disciplines, including management systems, auditing and risk. Vicki has lectured in the OHS Masters program at a highly recognised NSW university.
